If you’re an incoming or current student, apply for housing by submitting the housing application at live.upike.edu using your UPIKE username and password.
All new students are required to provide information regarding their housing plans for the academic year. The application will gather information on where you wish to live on campus as well as allow commuter students the option to select a meal plan.
The following timeline has been established for housing assignment notifications:
April 1, 2020: The Housing and Meal Plan Application available for the 2020-2021 academic year.
Step 1: Submit an enrollment deposit
Step 2: Admissions will send you a UPIKE username and password
Step 3: Use your UPIKE information to log in to live.upike.edu to complete the application and select a meal plan
July 6, 2020: Priority deadline for all students who wish to live on campus. If you have a roommate request you should make every effort to complete the Housing and Meal Plan Application by this date. Roommate requests will only be granted if both residents mutually request one another on their application.
July 13, 2020: Housing assignment and roommate notifications will be distributed to those who have filled out the application by the priority deadline. All notifications will be sent to UPIKE email addresses. Rolling notifications will continue every Monday until classes begin.

After students receive housing and roommate assignment notifications, changes cannot be made.
Students requesting changes to housing or roommate assignments may do so by contacting their Area Coordinator after the first three weeks of each semester.
All returning will need to apply for housing at live.upike.edu using your UPIKE login information.

Once a housing selection has been submitted no adjustments will be made until after the first three weeks of the Fall semester.
All housing assignments are reserved in real-time and therefore will be processed on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Please keep in mind the university is closed between December 24 – January 1, therefore notifications will not be sent during this time.
The University of Pikeville has limited apartment units available for graduate and family housing located approximately three miles driving distance from campus. UPIKE offers three styles of housing at South.
Furniture, utilities, cable, and internet are included in the cost of rent and free laundry is available on-site. For more information or to obtain a lease agreement, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or (606) 218-5224.
Full-time undergraduate students are required to live in campus housing from the point they agree to the terms and conditions of the Housing Contract. Additionally, according to the Student Handbook, all student-athletes are required to reside in university housing. If you wish to live off-campus, you must request this by the following dates each semester:
Fall 2020 – Off-Campus Residency Application is due May 31, 2020
Spring 2021 – Off-Campus Residency Application is due December 1, 2020
Fall 2021 – Off-Campus Residency Application is due May 31, 2021
Spring 2022 – Off-Campus Residency Application is due December 1, 2021
Applications received after the above dates will not be accepted. You must submit your application by completing the form prior to signing a lease for off-campus housing and submitting it to the Office of Residence Life (anticipate 3-5 business days for processing).
