We are happy you made the decision to be a Bear! During your first-year experience, we will provide you with opportunities that introduce you to life on campus and in the community. Overall, UPIKE First is a concentrated effort designed to orient new students to college life by helping you integrate into an academic and social network of professors and classmates, and providing you with the knowledge and resources necessary for success throughout your college career. This experience includes GROWL, UPIKE First Week, Welcome Week and First-Year Seminar, a one-semester course.
