Student Success Advisor
Jessica is a graduate of the University of Pikeville where she earned her bachelor of business administration (2012) and master of business administration (2022). She began her career with the University of Pikeville Center for Student Success in 2014 and is now the Student Success and Transfer Advisor. Outside of work you’ll find her enjoying time with her husband, Justin, and her daughters Harper and Marlei. Jessica is excited to welcome each of you to UPIKE and help with all your transitional needs.

Mandy graduated from Pikeville College, now UPIKE, with a bachelor’s in criminal justice in 2002. She started working for her alma mater in 2008. She loves her job as an advisor and works around the clock to make sure our students feel at home. She loves all things Jesus and making blessings for her Blessing Jar for students.

Paris is a 2023 graduate from Ave Maria University with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. She moved to Kentucky from upstate New York and joined the Center for Student Success team in 2023. She loves her home here and welcomed her first child, a sweet boy, last summer.

Originally from Chino, California, Nolan Fernandes graduated from UPIKE with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and sociology. As a student-athlete, he was a pitcher for UPIKE Bears Baseball. He enjoys watching various genres of movies and is a HUGE Disney Fan. Nolan’s goal is to help incoming students feel comfortable since he understands what it may feel like to be far away from home for school.
