CAEP Accountability Measures

Measure 1: (Initial) Completer Effectiveness and Impact on P-12 Learning and Development (Component R4.1)

The following Case Studies provide data related to completer effectiveness and impact on P-12 student learning growth (R4.1).  They also include data analysis for Satisfaction of Employers (R4.2), and Satisfaction of Completers (R4.3).

Measure 2. (Initial and/or Advanced): Satisfaction of Employers and Stakeholder Involvement (Components R4.2|R5.3 | RA.4.1)

Satisfaction of Employers (Components R4.2, RA.4.1)

Employer Satisfaction Evaluations are administered yearly.  The Case Studies included in Measure 1 above also contain data analysis from the yearly Employer Satisfaction Evaluations.

Stakeholder Involvement (Component R5.3)

Stakeholder involvement is important to us.  The Teacher Education Committee consists of all education faculty, P-12 teachers/principals, program coordinators from the content divisions in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), program completers, the CAS Dean, Registrar, a community member, and students.  The documents below contain summaries of the discussions and actions taken by the TEC during each academic year.

Measure 3. (Initial and/or Advanced): Candidate competency at program completion (Components R3.3, RA3.4)

Measure 4. (Initial and/or Advanced): Ability of completers to be hired in education positions for which they have prepared.

Employment and retention data demonstrate our completers’ abilities to be hired in education positions for which they have prepared.  Completer satisfaction data are also included to demonstrate completers’ perceptions of their teacher preparation programs in training them for the positions in which they now serve.
