Institutional Research and Effectiveness
The Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness is responsible for the development and maintenance of data resources to support the strategic planning and policy-making processes at the University of Pikeville, including both the College of Arts and Sciences and the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. The office facilitates the flow of accurate, timely information and assists all levels of management in defining issues, selecting research designs, obtaining information and interpreting results.

Academic Spending Versus
Athletic Spending
The Delta Cost Project looked at academic and athletic spending for 225 NCAA Division I public universities and concluded that athletic departments spent far more per athlete than institutions spent to educate the average student.
