Institutional Research and Effectiveness
The Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness is responsible for the development and maintenance of data resources to support the strategic planning and policy-making processes at the University of Pikeville, including both the College of Arts and Sciences and the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. The office facilitates the flow of accurate, timely information and assists all levels of management in defining issues, selecting research designs, obtaining information and interpreting results.

For first-time students, do their experiences at the end of the first semester match their expectations from the first week of college? The 386 new freshmen for fall 2013 were surveyed during the first week of classes concerning their expectations and then again during the last full week of classes in the fall about their experiences.
