As a professional student, UPIKE has lots of ways you can get involved. Student organizations range from student government to local chapters of national professional organizations. Groups represent the diverse interests of students, including: community outreach, social support and various practice specialties.

Student Government Association (SGA) for KYCOM exist to manage the student organizations within the school, serve as representatives of the student body both internally and externally, assist in professional conduct concerns, and serve as the voice of the student body on campus committees and with university administration.

The Interprofessional Council (IPC) is a student government organization that includes representation from all graduate programs at UPIKE. The IPC serves as the voice of all graduate and professional students and manages both the student Diversity and Mental Health Committees. The IPC will collaborate with other University organizations to promote interprofessional education, diversity appreciation and mental health initiatives.
