FOUR KYCOM Students Matched into Military Medical Residencies

The University of Pikeville-Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine (KYCOM) is proud to announce that four of its medical students participated in the Military Residency Match on Wednesday, December 10, and successfully matched into residency programs with the U.S. Army and Air Force. These students will continue their medical training in prestigious military hospitals as they strive to become highly skilled military physicians.

Madison Brown matched into an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. Anthony Veliz matched into a family medicine residency at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia. Brown and Veliz, who currently hold the rank of 2nd lieutenant in the Army, will be promoted to captain upon graduation.

Tanner Charette will begin a pediatrics residency at Walter Reed National Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Logan Ramjit was matched into a family medicine residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. Charette and Ramjit both hold the rank of Air Force 2nd lieutenant and will be promoted to captain upon graduation.
