As an artist and an art teacher my interest lies in the expressive qualities of art and in the creation of art. Art for me is a conversation. It is an on going dialogue, experiment and expression. Art creates the space to explore the landscapes of shifting memory, emotion and the realms that exist somewhere just beyond the reach of my analytical conscious mind. It lies in the periphery of my sight, on the edges of my certainty, and somewhere between emotional rational thought and the haunting echoes of the remembered and of dreams.
