Help UPIKE celebrate Giving Tuesday

On December 3, the University of Pikeville will celebrate Giving Tuesday with the UPIKE Giving Tuesday Challenge.

Join alumni, family and friends by giving online to support a college, athletic team or club/organization on campus. Donate to a college like the College of Arts and Sciences or an athletic team like women’s basketball. At the end of December 3, the area with the most money raised will receive an additional $1,500 donation.

To be part of this important initiative, visit giving.upike.edu/givingTuesday on Tuesday, December 3.

Participants are encouraged to share the UPIKE Giving Tuesday Challenge information on social media or through email with others to inspire them to be charitable until throughout December 3.

UPIKE’s Vice President of Advancement and Alumni Relations David R. Hutchens said he looks forward to seeing supporters of the university working together to advance the important work happening on campus.

“Year-round, gifts from UPIKE’s devoted alumni, faculty, staff, friends and athletic supporters make it possible for students from diverse backgrounds to see new possibilities for themselves,” said Hutchens. “On Giving Tuesday, those who love UPIKE will have an opportunity to come together and give to the areas they are most passionate about. These gifts will have a positive impact on our students in a variety of ways.”

This Giving Tuesday, encourage your friends, family, co-workers and community to join the hundreds of millions of others in collaborating and celebrating generosity. Together, Giving Tuesday is no ordinary Tuesday, it’s a movement.
