The University of Pikeville’s Coleman College of Business will host a Speakers and Leadership Series event on Friday, November 22, at noon in Chrisman Auditorium. UPIKE alumnus Gary Justice will serve as the featured guest speaker with his presentation, “Life is Like a Curveball.”
Justice was a first-generation college student who began his college baseball career at then Pikeville College in 1992 and received his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1995.
Justice is a UPIKE Athletic Hall of Fame Member for his athletic career from 1992-96, a two- time All-Conference selection and 1993 Pitcher of the Year, who upon graduation ranked in the top five for career wins, career-innings pitched, games started and innings pitched in one season.
Justice served as UPIKE’s Vice President for Admissions in 2010 and set enrollment records at the university for five years. He finished his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at UPIKE in 2013 and graduated as the Outstanding Student in the MBA class of 2013.
