Coleman College of Business Leadership Series September 25

The University of Pikeville’s Coleman College of Business will host a Speaker and Leadership Series event on Monday, September 25, at 1 p.m. on the seventh floor of the Health Professions Education Building. First Lady and Director of the Center for Career, Vocation, and Leadership, Kay Webb, Ph.D., will serve as the featured guest speaker with her presentation, “Living with Work: Being Well in the Middle of Everything.”

Webb earned her Master of Arts in Counseling in 2003 and earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology in 2008 from Ball State University.

Along with a passion for helping students succeed, Webb brings decades of experience at the collegiate level as an educator and a counselor. She recently transitioned as a visiting associate professor of psychology to direct the new career center. In this new role, Webb is expanding the career services offered at UPIKE to include career and leadership development opportunities for all students, beginning from the moment they first step foot on campus.

The campus and the community are cordially invited to attend the September 25 event. For more information, contact Brenda Maynard, associate professor of business, at (606) 218-5005 or brendamaynard@upike.edu.
