Business Affairs
The Office of Business Affairs of the University of Pikeville consists of the office of the Vice President for Finance and Business Affairs and major functional departments responsible for financial management; accounting, budgeting and reporting; facilities maintenance, planning and construction; information technology; safety and security; health and environmental safety; human resources and administrative services.
The successful achievement of the Office of Business Affairs’ mission is through a partnership with the campus community. In this partnership, the Office of Business Affairs is responsible for assuming a leadership role. The mission of the Office of Business Affairs is to:
  • Provide appropriate centralized business and technology services to the campus community.
  • Assist the executive level of the campus in the management of campus business affairs.
  • Establish and operate systems and procedures that provide timely processing and reporting of business transactions.
  • Establish, communicate and interpret policies, including guidelines and standards for procedures that promote good business practices.
  • Perform the comptrollership functions of the Board of Trustees.
