International Student Application Process

If you are an international student interested in attending UPIKE, use this information in order to begin the application process. Submit an official copy of your high school transcript

  1. Application: Complete the UPIKE International Student Application
  2. Passport:  If you are a citizen of another country, please provide a copy of your passport to our Admissions office.
  3. Financial Affidavit form: To show evidence of the ability to meet financial obligations for tuition, books and living expenses for an academic year.
  4. Evidence of English proficiency: This is determined your TOEFL score (Test of English as a Foreign Language). UPIKE requires a TOEFL score of 68 for undergraduate students, and a score of 79 for graduate students.
  5. Immunizations:  All incoming international students are required to provide current immunization records per the national guidelines from the U. S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the American College Health Association and the World Health Organization.
  6. Transcript Evaluation: All secondary and post-secondary education (not US accredited) done outside of the United States must been evaluated by an international credential evaluation agency at the applicant’s expense.     

Method of Evaluation: Certified copies of all previous high school and post-high school academic records must be sent for an evaluation with English translation to one of the following evaluators:

Application deadline: June 15 for fall semester and November 15 for spring semester.

Financial Aid

After you have completed the application steps, you will also want to apply for financial aid by completing the FAFSA. UPIKE’s code is: 001980. Nearly all incoming UPIKE freshmen receive some form of financial aid.
