Four-Week Program

Students will participate in a four-week program where class meets every Tuesday and Thursday with evening activities on Wednesdays.

  • Attending all course meetings is vital for this accelerated course

  • Training in skills necessary for college success that are built into the curriculum of FS 102, such as time management, critical thinking and growth mindset.
  • Early access to campus resources and your first-year advisor, early completion of the College Student Inventory and Nuro Discovery survey, networking opportunities with the UPIKE community and self-exploration.
  • Lunch provided on class days and dinner provided during evening activities.


  • Student must qualify for the Pikeville Promise scholarship (Must be a Kentucky resident and display full eligibility for Pell Grant while also receiving College Access Program and Kentucky Tuition Grant state financial assistance awards).
  • Student must attend GROWL prior to June 6, 2022, and register for the Fall 2022 semester (full-time).
