Gregory Harris, D.O., is a graduate of Mississippi State University Class of 2005 with a bachelor of science and a KYCOM graduate with the Class of 2010. Dr. Harris hopes to bring fresh ideas to the KYCOM Alumni Association regarding how it can serve KYCOM students and the wider alumni community. Immediate Past President: Erin Griffin, D.O., KYCOM Class of 2009

Born and raised in North Carolina, originally from Sanford, NC and now living in Hampstead, I attended UNC Chapel Hill and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Go Heels! I then took a year off, which I partly spent traveling in Australia. While living in Sydney, I began to develop my interest in promoting a healthy lifestyle and counseling patients in nutrition. I now incorporate this into my practice and provide weight loss and wellness counseling on a regular basis. I completed a Family Medicine residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. Currently I am practicing in Jacksonville, NC as the Medical Director of Vidant Family Medicine. When I am not busy working or enjoying the beach, I am also very involved in the North Carolina Osteopathic Medical Association as its Immediate Past President. I look forward to continuing to grow our alumni association and thus provide more services for our KYCOM alumni in my role as Immediate Past President to the alumni association.
