Event Spaces

To request an event space, an event form must be submitted 10 business days prior to the anticipated event date. Requests for scheduling event space (non-classroom) are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to university events. Final reservation confirmation of the event will be given by the University of Pikeville Conference and Event Services department. Requests for meeting space are accepted by email to charitydeel@upike.edu or by phone at (606) 218-5271.

Scheduling Timeline: External clients and events, including weddings, can be confirmed no later than six months from the set event date. Reservations can be made prior to that date, however confirmation will be given no sooner than six months in advance.

Scheduling a Student Event
Student clubs and organizations should use the Internal Event Form as certain policies and procedures are specific to student needs. Once the necessary information is received, the request will be reviewed and space will be tentatively reserved for the proposed event. It will then be determined if the event requires an event manager be present.

Classrooms are scheduled through the registrar’s office.
University events take precedence over external events. The Conference and Event Services department reserves the right to substitute facilities for the space(s) reserved should the need arise.
