Dear Bear,

Welcome to UPIKENEWS, the official newsletter of the University of Pikeville Alumni Association.

Congratulations Class of 2013! Take a look at the many pictures and videos of graduation and end of the year festivities at UPIKE, including the Athletics Banquet and several student and alumni stories. We continue the series entitled Alumni Mystery Pictures as we search each week for the identities of many of our alumni. With your help, we have already identified several mystery photos and put names to faces.

As valued alumni, we want to hear about you and include your stories in upcoming issues of the newsletter. Please send us your stories and pictures and help us celebrate our UPIKE alumni. Do you have a riding lawn mower sitting in your garage collecting dust, or a Zetasizer Nano Series Particle Size Analyzer? Then view the Want Ads section of the website. If you have been away from campus for too long, check out the Save the Date section for upcoming events.

On behalf of the Alumni Association and the University of Pikeville community, Go Bears!

Spiritual Life
Acts of Compassion
Without compassion, life is vague and has a minuet meaning. Compassion is ultimately what ties humans together no matter how different we are; compassion is universal and felt by all.
