Dear Bear,

Welcome to UPIKENEWS, the official newsletter of the University of Pikeville Alumni Association.

As we close in on the last month of the spring semester, the campus is busy with activity. Athletics Weekend is only weeks away and the women's bowling team is in the hunt for its 4th national championship in Reno, Nevada! Alumni profiles, UPIKE Connect videos of Chancellor Paul Patton and Dean Howard Roberts, the new dean of the College of Optometry, and the Kentucky Innovation Network announcement are just a few of this month's highlights.

As valued alumni, we want to hear about you and include your stories in upcoming issues of the newsletter. Please send us your stories and pictures and help us celebrate our UPIKE alumni. Did you buy one too many new Xbox Kinect Sensors? If so, then please view the Want Ads section of our website and consider donating this equipment. If you have been away from campus for too long, check out the Save the Date section for your class reunion and the schedule of AlumNites coming to a city near you.
