"That which does not kill us makes us stronger." - Famous words, to be certain. Nietzsche's quotation, while relevant for anyone, has traditionally been best suited to those individuals who have encountered significant adversity in life. Folks who have persevered through the storm, and emerged triumphant to see the sunshine that lies at the end of every gale. More

Join us for a night of friends and laughter, as UPIKE alumni and students gather at Aurelio's Pizza in Marietta, Ga. We will meet at 8 p.m. on March 7th as Professor Howard Francis plays host, along with his students, after attending SIGCSE's Computer Science Symposium.
RSVP to 606.218.5296 or alumni@upike.edu.

Sydney Morris

"I have a lot of expectations for myself and my team this season, and I know that we are well prepared for the challenges to come. I'm lucky to be a part of such a hard working team who is constantly putting in work outside of practice. When everyone is working to accomplish the same goals, that's when a team will be successful," Morris said. More

"Seeing them succeed and overcome barriers was amazing. It was this day-to-day work with children, and the conversations I had with teachers and principals, that encouraged me to get into teaching."
