Possessed of a contagious cheer, Bartley has displayed over the course of his life and career a relentless pursuit of optimism. Spiritual Life
Being Thankful

"Before going, I had a vision that I would change lives. Instead, my whole world changed as soon as I stepped foot in this beautiful country. I have made so many new relationships that I will always treasure. I have bonded with kids who I couldn't even communicate with, but somehow had the deepest connections with." - Emily Castle

Dear Bear,

Welcome to UPIKENEWS, the official newsletter of the University of Pikeville Alumni Association.

Even under a blanket of snow the campus is abuzz with activity. Campus presentations, AlumNite events, student profiles, and alumni stories highlight this month's newsletter. You will also want to mark your calendar for your Decades Reunion weekend this summer!

As valued alumni, we want to hear about you and include your stories in upcoming issues of the newsletter. Please send us your stories and pictures and help us celebrate our UPIKE alumni. Are you still using your Antari HZ-500 Haze Machine that you purchased several years ago? If not, then please view the Want Ads section of our website and consider donating this equipment. If you have been away from campus for too long, check out the Save the Date section for upcoming events and the schedule of AlumNites coming to a city near you.

On behalf of the Alumni Association and the University of Pikeville community, Go Bears!
