PIKEVILLE, KY
The Pikeville College Student Government Association (SGA) recently held elections for the 2011-2012 officers. Lacey Kyle Ferrell has been named SGA President and Hannah Vinson will serve as SGA Vice President.
Ferrell is a senior majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry. In addition to his studies, Ferrell is active in many campus organizations. Vice president of Gamma Sigma Chi and president of the Pre-Professional Club, Ferrell is a member of the academic team, Sigma Tau Delta and is a tutor for the ACE Program. Ferrell also volunteers with Appalachian Hospice Care. He is the son of Lacey and Monica Ferrell of Phelps.
Vinson is a sophomore majoring in criminal justice. She is a member of the Pikeville College softball team and president of Rotaract. She is the daughter of J.D and Kim Vinson of Logan, W.Va.
Ferrell and Vinson will begin serving as president and vice president in May 2011.
