PIKEVILLE, KY
Shyler Brown, Jay White and Zachary Frazier were recently sworn in as Pikeville College Army ROTC cadets.

White, of Effingham, Ill., is a freshman majoring in criminal justice. He is the son of Brett and Julie White.
Frazier is a freshman psychology major. He is the son of Scott and Tammy Frazier of Louisa.
Since its inception in 2007, Pikeville College’s ROTC program has grown to a Corps of 38 cadets from across the country, with many receiving full scholarships. The very best are selected to attend specialized Army training such as Airborne, Air Assault and Northern Warfare School. This spring the program will commission the first lieutenant in the school’s history.
