Dance students invited to train with masters

Pikeville, Ky.
The University of Pikeville School of Dance will be hosting master dance classes once a month during the fall semester. Norbe and Rafaella Risco, directors of the Kentucky Ballet Theatre in Lexington, will be teaching the classes in the Ridenour Dance Studios on the UPIKE campus.

The master classes are open to all dancers in any class and will be age-graded. The cost is $10 per person.

Classes to be taught on Friday, Sept. 21, include: creative movement for three-year-olds from 4-4:30 p.m.; creative movement for four-year-olds from 4:30-5 p.m.; five-six-year-olds from 5-5:45 p.m.; seven-nine-year-olds from 6-7 p.m.; and 10-12-year-olds, level I from 7-8 p.m., and levels II and III from 4-5 p.m.; teen/adult from 5-6:30 p.m.; and Pointe from 6:30-8 p.m.
