Health & Environment Safety

The University of Pikeville Department of Health and Environmental Safety is dedicated to enhancing the opportunity for students, faculty and staff to participate in the educational experience by providing a safe environment to live and work. The safety of our students, faculty, staff and visitors is of primary importance. Full participation of the entire University of Pikeville community is requested and appreciated.

Services performed include:

  • Provide appropriate centralized health and environmental safety services to the campus community.
  • Establish and operate systems and procedures that provide a safe environment to live and work.
  • Establish, communicate and interpret policies including guidelines and standards for procedures that promote good business practices.

Overall, the Department of Health and Environmental Safety is dedicated to provide a proactive safe environment and prompt friendly service to everyone in the University of Pikeville’s Community.
