Boyd Buser, D.O., FACOFP
Honorary Alumni Award 2016

Boyd R. Buser, D.O., FACOFP, vice president for health affairs and dean of the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine, was presented with the Honorary Alumni Award. The award is recognizes individuals who are not graduates, but whose service reflects the spirit and tradition of the University of Pikeville. In July, Buser was installed as the 120th president of the American Osteopathic Association. He also has served as president of the American Academy of Osteopathy and in 1994 was named Educator of the Year by both the AOA and the American Osteopathic Foundation. Buser and his wife, Pam, live in Pikeville.
