The University of Pikeville offers an outstanding liberal arts education with 26 majors, six pre-professional programs and a graduate program culminating in the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree (D.O.) from the College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The Pikeville Promise

More than 97 percent of UPIKE students receive financial assistance in the form of scholarships, grants, work-study and loans, including the Pikeville Promise, guaranteed full tuition for four years to those who qualify. 




First-Year Experience

As a University of Pikeville Bear, we are committed to making your freshman experience a memorable one. New students are welcomed to the campus during our summer SOAR sessions. A freshman studies course, tutoring and a comprehensive mentoring program enhance the first-year experience and encourage a successful transition to university life.
