Student Achievement
The University of Pikeville evaluates success with respect to undergraduate student achievement consistent with its mission. The institution documents successful student achievement in relation to its mission by monitoring several broad measures as well as specific programmatic measures. The institution uses these findings to support and improve student achievement as part of its annual strategic planning process.

The CDS is a set of standards and definitions of data items rather than a survey instrument or set of data represented in a database. Each of the higher education surveys conducted by the participating publishers (e.g., the College Board, Peterson's, and U.S. News & World Report) incorporates items from the CDS as well as unique items proprietary to each publisher.
