Business - Majors and Minors
The Division of Business and Economics presently offers programs leading to a minor, associate and baccalaureate degrees designed to prepare students for careers in the rapidly changing business world and global environment.
Students may pursue a four-year Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) degree by completing the general core of classes (55 credit hours), the business core of classes (39 credit hours) and then a selected B.B.A. emphasis core of classes (21 credit hours) which is chosen from the following four areas:
Students may choose to pursue a two-year Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in one of the following three areas:
- Accounting
- Management
- Management Information Systems
A Minor in Business Administration may be achieved by completing 24 credit hours in the basic business subjects.
Additionally, the division has recently added a new minor in Military Science and Leadership (M.S.L). This program offers students the opportunity to participate in the Reserve Officers Training Program (ROTC) of the United States Army that provides college-trained officers for the Army, Army National Guard and the Army Reserves.
